Remember to uphold our friends in the hospital struggling with cancer. Many are so sick and weak. Pray that they would feel Gods comforting presence and would turn their eyes on the Lord. Uphold those who fight cancer courageously at home each day. Pray that they would be encouraged and would continue to seek God for strength, wisdom and direction each day Pray for those in remission, this is a blessed time. Rejoice with them and thank God for His mercy and grace to bring them to the place of remission. Pray for continued health that they too would now reach out and comfort others as they once were comforted by the ONE who gave them the greatest comfort of all. Pray that we continue to build our volunteer roster with people who love the Lord and desire to make a difference in the lives of those who are hurting. Pray for the leadership team at Ribbon of Hope. That our board of directors, committee members and staff would have wisdom and spiritual discernment regarding the daily operations of the ministry. That the new infrastructure will allow ROH to enhance its ability to serve its patients and their family members more effectively. That we would stand united in our desire to ensure that no one battling cancer would have to do it alone. Pray for those who, through their struggle with cancer, have trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. That their personal faith will help them cope with their cancer and that they are daily experiencing a peace like never before. Pray for our current roster of 75 ROH volunteers. That their ministry, regardless of their role, will make a difference in the lives of those they serve. That God would give them wisdom and the continued desire to build relationships and share HIS promises with our patients. That they would seek to do things above and beyond what they are asked to do even though often times it goes unnoticed by human eyes. Pray for God’s blessing on them and for strength to stay focused and strong for the Lord. Remember to pray for the staff and Doctors who care daily for those struggling with cancer. This too is a thankless job and they find themselves weary and tired physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray that ROH would be an encouragement to them each day. Pray that they would reach out to ROH for prayer, refreshment and encouragement through Jesus Christ. Please uphold our dear family members who have recently lost a loved one to the disease of cancer. Pray that they would feel Gods comforting presence and his abundant grace during this time.
